Athletics

Student participation in after school activities, including athletics, is a high priority at Messmer.  We believe that this type of involvement rounds out the eduational process.  Generally, participation also requires that a student be passing all of his/her courses and does not have two or more Ds in a given quarter. 

All students engaging in athletics are required to have health insurance along with the following forms on file in the school office.  Please download, file in and return these forms prior to a student's practicing and/or competiting in any sport. 

• Participation Physical Evaluation (to be completed and signed by a physician)
• Alternate Year Athletic Permit Card (needed every other year in place of the physical evaluaiton form)
• High School Athletic Eligibiity Information Bulletin (tear off signed by student athlete and parent/guardian)
